.BACK AT ONE
.GOOD OLD DAYS
02 August 2006
Oh god!!! What has happen to my blog (referring to the MSN spaces blog I used to reside at before moving over here)? I can't believe my eyes! Looks like I have to make major adjustments when I am back in Singapore.
This is my fifth day in Taiwan, and finally in a hotel that I can lay my hands on a computer. Presently I am in Yi-lan, somewhere on the eastern coast of Taiwan. This hotel is named Shangrila, it's got nothing to do with the international Shangri-La group. Very nice and sleek place, Meditarrian style with Spanish interior designs, great place to R&R, overlooking the rice field.
So far, the trip has been great, with quite a bit to do and see. Just that the weather is really too too hot, perspiring like water leaking out of a wall with cracks, especially today when we were at two theme parks which are open-air, very much open-air.
Talking about theme parks, while we were at one of the theme park today, we all had the shock of a life time (ok, perhaps this description is too "over"). The manager actually "invited" a news crew of a local tv station to "drop by". I was somehow "forced" to go on tv camera, and was asked why I chose to visit this park, whether perhaps there is something about this park that attracts me even before I got here, something that i would want to introduce to the Singapore readers.
Answer is pure simple, it's in the itinery pre-arranged by the organisers, but obviously I can't say that. Been a "part-time" tv reporter in the past, I understand the plight of the poor lady sitting in front of me, and so I put up a perfect performance.
Guess I will have quite a bit to write when I am back home. Took some photos which I think are not too bad, but jiuhukia perhaps will consider them pure crap. Hahahaha...
Take care guys.
P/S: Ah Hoon, I will try to get the book if I can find it.
Another P/S: Yes, this is in English again because I ain' no good in the traditional Chinese input method.
